Feckless

1 05 2012

Feckless:  feck·less/ˈfeklis/

Adjective: (of a person) Lacking in efficiency or vitality.

Unthinking and irresponsible.

Synonyms: powerless – ineffective – helpless

This word is being used more and more frequently lately to describe the quality of leadership coming from the US Administration. I just thought you would like to know the dictionary definition. It is our choice. That is why we hold elections.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 1 Timothy 2:1-3

Well, I don’t like this treatment nor the cartoon, neither of which are applicable to the usual tone of your blog.

The Scriptural quote is the Main Thing and is all you needed to say to us.
May we be praying for our president, our governors and all advisors and all our citizens and visitors and ourselves for God’s mercy today at our gatherings for our National Day of Prayer.

Grace and peace,

Thank you, Diane, for your honest comment. It truly grieves me to see such fecklessness, which is why I am so motivated to pray. I know we agree that the only perfect leader is Jesus.
