US Embassy: Recognition of Reality – X4

6 12 2017

Old city street 7-17

Praise God for President Trump keeping his promise to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish people. Here are my four prophetic observations that you won’t see in the secular news.

  1. It’s not about Israel, it’s about the United States. Although Israel is rejoicing with today’s Presidential declaration, the real effect is God blessing the US because we are blessing Israel according to Genesis 12:3. We are recognizing the reality on the ground that Jerusalem has been Israel’s modern capital for 70 years , and in the Bible  for over 3,000 years, since King David’s original declaration.
  2. It’s not about Trump, it’s about God. I honor our President for keeping his word from the campaign. Our three previous presidents broke their promise to move the Embassy. But the real credit belongs to God who moved on President Trumps heart, who is simply obeying and carrying out the will of the God of Israel. Derek Prince, one of my mentors, used to say: When you and the Holy Spirit arrive at the same place, at the same time; it makes you look good.” The same applies to Trump’s promise to “drain the swamp”. I believe God is draining the corrupt and immoral swamp of modern American culture way beyond politics in DC. It is God’s doing and the fact that Trump gives voice to God’s purpose actually does make Trump look good, but it is happening because it is God’s timing for restoration.
  3. It does not kill the “peace process” which was already dead. The Arabs and Muslims have been opposing peace for 100 years, blocking every attempt. The most recent major push was the 1993 Oslo accords which have been a joke. How is that working out for you? It only brought suicide bombings and riots with Israel losing land in every “land for peace,” deal, that never brought peace. After 24 years it is time to pronounce that process dead. It is futile to impose the two-state concept for many practical reasons, but the final word is God’s. He has given the land to Israel; and all the nations of the world and all the demons of hell will not cancel out Yehovah’s eternal plan.
  4. Yehovah is raining on the “Days of Rage”. All the usual suspects are lining up to oppose the move with threats and a call for three days of rage. I had to laugh when a Fox News report a few minutes ago suggested that it is going to be cold and  rainy the next three days in Israel, which may reduce the demonstrations. Ha! Pray for rain!
O Yehovah, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthlessness and unprofitable things.” Will a man make gods for himself, which are not gods? “Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; And they shall know that My name is Yehovah. Jeremiah 16:19-21
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for rain!

Jerusalem Plot Thickens

2 05 2017

shofarAs Israel celebrated their Independence Day yesterday, Palestinians mourned the occasion as “the catastrophe.” Even worse, UNESCO voted to deny Israel’s claims to Jerusalem on the same day (not a coincidence). Plus, the PA President, Mahmoud Abbas, is meeting with President Trump in Washington tomorrow, further thickening the plot.

On Independence Day, UNESCO okays resolution denying Israeli claims to Jerusalem

Make no mistake, the goal of Islam remains the complete destruction of all Israel. The “moderates” are willing to proceed incrementally, while the rest demand the entire land of Israel immediately. Each step is critical to the eventual outcome.

We must pray courage for President Trump and PM Netanyahu to resist the enormous pressure from the Palestinians and the nations arrayed against Israel. The ultimate victory of Israel is in Yehovah God’s hands.

Trump’s trajectory seems to be to recognize all of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, which is to simply acknowledge the truth first established over 3,000 years ago by King David. The Jews have always maintained it is their capital. Meanwhile, no other nation has ever existed that named Jerusalem as its capital city.

President Trump’s first ever visit to Israel will be around May 22 when he may make his declarations. Pray that he will do it. It is time! The next day is Jerusalem Day (50 year anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem from Jordan during the Six Day War). This is a profoundly significant month in Biblical history being fulfilled right before our eyes.

Pray that the United States will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Pray that we will move our Embassy, leading many other nations to follow. Pray for Presidential courage to resist Abbas and the anti-Israel principality. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place for my name to be honored, and I have chosen David to be king over my people Israel. 2 Chronicles 6:6 NLT

On a personal note, thanks for your prayers for my Idaho ministry trip. It has been wonderful having my granddaughter Aly helping me on her Bat Mitzvah trip. We had a great meeting Sunday at Sandpoint Christian Center, next Friday and Saturday nights at River of Life and next Sunday at Cocalalla Cowboy Church. Please pray for us.

Israel…Is…Real

1 12 2016

dry-bones-trumpOnce upon a time we could assume that a Jew would naturally support the survival of the Jewish State. Once upon a time we suspected all Christians of being secret antisemites. Well, those days are gone forever! Here’s hoping that President Trump appoints a dedicated Zionist to the post of Ambassador to Israel, and that does not necessarily mean a Jew. (comments by Yaachov Kirschen, Israeli cartoonist who has drawn Dry Bones since 1973)

I have enjoyed the Dry Bones cartoons almost from the beginning. It is such a joy for me to see Mr Kirschen recognizing the major change in evangelical Christendom from replacement theology to openly Zionist. I have never met him, but consider him a true friend, due to the common bond of Zionism. He knows that all Christians are not Zionists, and that it is also true that not all Jews are Zionists. I applaud him for his honesty. Keep up the great work!

On a related point, consider the hypocrisy of one of Israel’s main political parties. They have changed their name from Labor to the Zionist Party; yet, they are anti-Zionist. They are in favor of dividing the land for a two-state solution. (By the way… been there – done that! The land dedicated by Britain for a Jewish state was already divided to create a Palestinian state. That is how we got Jordan. Now they want to divide the land again for another Palestinian state!) The “Zionist Party” is just the opposite. They are co-opting the term to confuse things.

My view is clear. The only solution that will bring peace is annexation of Judea and Samaria (West Bank). As I wrote in a recent blog, if you want your prayers answered, pray what Yehovah God has already said He is going to do.

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.” Joel 3:1-2

God’s Chaos Candidate

29 10 2016

gods-chaos-candidate_finalI rarely devote my blog to encourage you to read a book, but today is important. With so much happening in our election season and the threat of world-wide chaos, you need to read a just published book by Lance Wallnau (already #19 on Amazon all books best seller list). Doreen and I have each read it this week and I urge you to read it before the election. The title is God’s Chaos Candidate.

Friday’s blockbuster (game-changer) news that the FBI is revisiting the Clinton email debacle, opens the very real possibility of a Donald J Trump presidency. Lance Wallnau’s book was written to show a different side of Trump. It also makes the case for Trump as God’s candidate. Wallnau does not predict Trump will win, but believes God raised him up for this time. He compares him not with great heroes of the faith, but rather with famous leaders not know for their faith such as the Biblical King Cyrus, Abraham Lincoln and Winston Churchill.

From the title you may think Trump is the cause of chaos, but the opposite point is made. Lance Wallnau suggest Trump is God’s answer for the coming chaos. At the least, if Trump wins, you may rest a bit easier with the softer side of Trump that is presented.

The easiest way to get it is a Kindle download, but you can also order it from Amazon and get it in two or three days. Click HERE to order it, or to read the first chapter for free.

That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. He said, “Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events; He removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.” Daniel 2:19-23 NLT

Please pray about ordering God’s Chaos Candidate today. Pray for God’s mercy for our country. And as always, pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
